Having experienced and survived HIPS, the 2008 financial crisis and more recently Covid we are acutely aware of the sometimes volatile nature of the industry. Combined with the peaks and troughs in the market caused by factors such as stamp duty holidays or changes in government policy we know things are not always easy out there.
